Project Overview
Garry Gillespie Constructions was engaged to supply skilled tradesperson including plumbers, and electricians, builders and carpenter for miscellaneous works on Humelink West JV.
Project: HumeLink
HumeLink is one of the largest energy infrastructure projects and will deliver approximately 356 Km of new 500 kV transmission line connecting Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle and includes new and upgraded infrastructure at four substations locations.
HumeLink has been declared Critical State Significant Infrastructure (CSSI) under the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and an EIS is required to support an application to the NSW Minister for Planning.
Scope
This Scope of Work outlines the requirements for the subcontractor to supply of tradespersons for Humelink West Project for the site facility establishment and building maintenance for Worker’s Accommodation and Laydowns.
All tradespersons held relevant certifications and possessed necessary safety qualifications for the completion of the specified tasks.
Local Participation
Local participation will be considered Drive In/Drive Out and will be at Subcontractor’s cost and management. Based in the Riverina, GGC was able to continue to provide a local workforce ongoing works on the major project.
High Praise
All tasks were delivered punctually, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding operations. The project was executed with a strong emphasis on safety and quality, with all stakeholders engaged throughout the process.
