Carter Holt Harvey – Softwood Timber Project

The foundations and ground slabs for the WESP support structure at Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts were critical to bringing the site in line with modern emissions control standards and EPA compliance. GGC constructed concrete piles, pile caps, beams, machine and motor plinths, drains, sumps, and the stack foundation, ensuring the durability and stability required for the structure. The team’s efficiency allowed them to complete the complex concrete work and related tasks within a tight timeline.

In addition to the structural work, GGC installed 1 kilometre of in-ground HDPE fire service piping. Demonstrating remarkable speed, GGC tendered, procured, and completed the entire project in just six weeks, enabling the client to erect steel and mechanical equipment ahead of schedule. This rapid delivery helped Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts minimise downtime and proceed with their critical installations.
